Sometimes in life you find the courage to embrace your passion and this is exactly what happened to me. After years of having received acupuncture and finding it made a real difference, I decided to study for a degree in it at Lincoln University and become an acupuncturist myself. I have always valued my health and emotional well-being and have been keen to use natural methods to achieve this.I received my first acupuncture treatment for eczema many years ago and I was stunned at how effective acupuncture was and amazed at how it also helped me to sleep better and deal more confidently with the stress of life. Marrying the experience of receiving and giving acupuncture has been brilliant. It makes me a more rounded practitioner so that I understand and empathise with my patients’ needs together with using my clinical skills to make a real difference. I take a holistic and interdisciplinary approach, so I’ll quiz my patients’ about everything from their diet to pee and pooh habits! I’ve treated patients’ with a myriad of conditions ranging from anxiety, depression, infertility, Fibromyalgia, Lupus, Hashimoto Thyroiditis, post chemotherapy fatigue, hot flushes, gynaecological disorders, migraines, hay fever, constipation and many more.
